The NBA is linking up with all sorts of musical artists to help them put on for their hometown teams. In the upcoming #MyTeamMyCity project, artists from cities around the US design alternate versions of their favorite teams. The whole project is in conjunction with custom t-shirt company Teespring.
A bunch of notable hip hop artists have gotten in on the action. Joey Bada$$ & Pro Era have a design for the Brooklyn Nets, Big Boi and Rich Homie Quan both have design for the Atlanta Hawks, Jeremih has a design for the Chicago Bulls, The Roots have a design for the Philadelphia 76ers and Riff Raff has a design for the Houston Rockets. DJ Khaled’s Miami Heat shirt will undoubtedly be a best-seller, and there are a ton of non-hip hop artists getting involved too, like The Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia and the Backstreet Boys.
These shirts will only be available for 9 more days, so be sure to cop them while they last. Each shirt comes in a ladies’ version too, so nobody gets left out. Which one are y'all feeling the most?
