Earlier this month, Nick Cannon revealed on Instagram that he was hospitalized with the autoimmune disease lupus. He promised he would get out of his hospital bed before the ball dropped on New Year's Eve. On Thursday, the rapper and actor kept his word and announced on Instagram that he was out of trouble and back at work.
"Ain't no hospital bed that can hold me," Cannon says in the IG video. "After two weeks and five blood transfusions... by his stripes I am healed," he posted in the captions along with a verse from the Bible.
The "Wild 'N Out" comedian contracted lupus back in 2012. He spent Christmas bedridden in the hospital battling the disease. In November, he had released the The Gospel Of Ike Turn Up: My Side Of The Story mixtape.
