In a series of tweets the singer expresses important points on the objectification and sexualization of women.

Last night, Ariana Grande posted a lengthy note to Twitter detailing an experience between herself, her boyfriend Mac Miller and an over zealous fan. Shortly there after her personal commentary on the event turned into a rant packed with strong sentiments and a few hard-learned lessons.

The tweet tells the story of a starstruck fan following the couple to their car to express his infatuation with Mac Miller. The story turns sour as the fan proclaims to Mac, "Ariana is sexy as hell man, I see you, I see you hitting that." Having obviously taken offense to the fan's declaration, Ariana posted the following tweet.

Though the singer seemed to make it very clear in her first statement that, "Things like this happen all the time and contribute to women's sense of fear and feeling of inadequacy," hours later she felt the need to post again to clear the air.

Looking to create an open dialogue on the situation, Ariana posted the following tweets as both justification and context for her feelings and the plight of women in an over sexualized society.

Though it is clear that the singer was very upset by the incidence, it seems that she is taking it in stride as she follows up her rant with a retweet celebrating the success of her "Side To Side," single featuring Nicki Minaj. Here's to wishing for understanding and support of the singer's message
