As of this morning, Red Entertainment Agency has landed in the hot seat after the announcement of a big lawsuit against them. According to promoter Robert Warnert, the agency is negligent for a series of talent bookings, stemming back to 2011, that the company never made good on.
In a story run by TMZ, Warnert claims to have paid massive amounts of money in deposits to secure talent for several concert performances in Dubai. It all started in 2011 when Warnert paid $150,000 to Red Entertainment to book Lil Wayne. Apparently, Red was unable to deliver and Warnert proceeded to go through similar situations over the years while trying to book Chris Brown, Will.i.am and Enrique Iglesias, which he says the company "couldn't deliver on any of 'em."
Warnert claims that none of the deposits he had previously paid were returned in full and is now suing for the $300,000 he says Red owes him.
According to the official website for Red Entertainment, the company was founded in 2002 and have a client roster that includes the likes of Meek Mill, Jodeci and Keith Sweat to name a few. Though no official statement has been released from Red Entertainment or any reps, stay tuned for more details on this story as they emerge.
