Boogie shared his Thirst 48 Part II mixtape yesterday, and on top of the impressive solo cuts, there are some interesting collaborations, including the West Coast crew track, "Fuck 'Em All," with Mozzy and DJ Quik, as well as the R&B-indebted "Slide On You" with K Camp. These two tracks are a pretty good display of Boogie's range, going from gritty street music to slick melodic slow jams. Of course, no matter the style, Boogie never skimps on his verses, as he delivers some personal bars on "Slide," offsetting K Camp's more traditional R&B songwriting.
You can listen to Boogie's whole new mixtape here.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'm trying to dig past
Like how you always keep me slipping
With your slick ass
You the type to make me quit rap
To making up my mishaps
Like shout-out to your maker
I'm just saying, God, you did that
Slide On You
