A man was removed from a JetBlue airplane after he made angry comments about Ivanka Trump's presence on the same flight.

JetBlue Airways Corp confirmed that they pulled a man off a plane after he became upset that Ivanka Trump was on the same flight. TMZ reports that the man's identity is Daniel Goldstein, a New York attorney.

Heavy reports that flight passenger Matthew Lasner tweeted that his husband Goldstein was chasing down Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner to voice his displeasure. He later tweeted that JetBlue forced them off the plane. He has since closed his Twitter account and has yet to speak to the media.

The flight was set to depart John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and was bound for San Francisco.

One witness close to the brouhaha, passenger Marc Scheff, said that when the man saw President-elect Donald Trump's daughter he "did a double take and said ‘Oh my God. This is a nightmare!’” Scheff said the man "started shaking."

“The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight,” JetBlue said in a statement.

“To do that to a woman who was on there with her children, I don’t care what your political background is or what your thoughts are, that’s not the way we as Americans need to act,” Trump spokesman Sean Spicer said to Fox News.

Ivanka Trump was flying to Hawaii for a vacation with her family, according to ABC News.
