The Oakland Raiders grinded out a 19-16 win over the Chargers in San Diego yesterday afternoon, improving to 11-3 on the season and, more importantly, clinching their first playoff spot since 2002.
Per ESPN:
"Just win; that's what we say," said Carr, who passed for 213 yards and a touchdown and an interception while completing 19 of 30 attempts and getting sacked twice.
"Stats are fun for people to look at and try to compare, but we just want to win. ... We said we're going to make the playoffs and we're going to do certain things. We put a vision out there."
Additionally, with Kansas City's loss to Tennessee, the Raiders moved back into sole possession of the AFC West and are currently in place for a first round bye.
The two remaining games on the Raiders' schedule include a home game against the Colts on Christmas Eve followed by the season finale in Denver on New Year's Day.
