Another act added to the NBA's star studded weekend.

The NBA has announced that The Roots will be opening up the 2017 All-Star Game in New Orleans during the "Entertainment Series presented by JBL" just before player introductions.

Earlier this week the league announced that John Legend would be performing at half-time of the All-Star game, which is going down on February 17th at 8pm.

Of course, the actual All-Star Game is only a portion of the NBA's star-studded weekend. Fans can look forward to more performances on Saturday, February 18th when the NBA's stars go for the Skills Challenge, 3-Point and Dunk Contest crowns.
