Tomorrow, The Game will release his 1992 album. The fanfare surrounding it has been insubstantial compared to the excitement for The Documentary 2, The Game's sequel to an album that was declared an instant west coast classic upon its release. Still, greatness, or at least consistency, is expected of The Game.
This week we revisit "Remedy," one of the most tremendous and replay-able bangers in Game's entire catalogue. It appeared on his sophomore album Doctor's Advocate, which is approaching its 10-year anniversary. Within two seconds, the listener is thrown into Game's turbulent world of low-riders peeling around corners at high speeds. Produced by Just Blaze, it is a thrilling affair from start to finish.
Listen to "Remedy" and check back tomorrow to hear 1992.
Quotable Lyrics
Why Andrew Jackson look high as fuck on the 20, G answer
Cocaine been around for centuries
Since I'm young, black and rich, I'm the public enemy
Ridin the bass drum, Just Blaze got the remedy
