The apartment of New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock was reportedly burglarized and tagged with "KKK" and "Go back to Africa" graffiti on the walls.
Whitlock shared some of the vandalism on his instagram account, which also included a large drawing of a swastika and "f*cking n*gger" on the walls of his family's New Jersey apartment.
The thieves reportedly entered his home threw a small window while his wife and kids were out, and took jewelry as well as video game systems though other electronics were untouched during the home invasion. Whitlock also claims that this is the second time his apartment has been robbed in just the six months that he's been living there.
Per ESPN:
"It just re-establishes that no matter where you are, no matter who you are, this can happen to you," Whitlock said. "It's about to be 2017. Oppression, violence, racism, hatred, violence, there's no need for that."
"It's very disgusting, actually; it's very disheartening," his wife, Ashley, added. "You hear about things that do happen, but you never think, 'Oh, this is going to happen to me.'"
