The Atlanta producer also spoke on a possible joint project between Drake and Gucci Mane.

Drake has been hyping up this current summer season ever since wintertime, dropping his "Summer Sixteen" single at the end of January. At the end of April, he announced a "Summer Sixteen" tour with his WATTBA collaborator Future. The joint tour kicks off later this month month, and indeed, Drake has already dropped off more than enough music to soundtrack the summer. VIEWS is still the No. 1 album in the country -- for the ninth week in a row -- and "One Dance" is still the No. 1 song. His new Khaled-hosted single, "For Free," is currently racing its way up the charts, and he's appeared on new collaborations with YG, Future, and Gucci Mane. Is that all he has in store for Summer '16? Not even close, says ATL trap pioneer Zaytoven

In a new interview with AllHipHop, Zaytoven speaks on his recent work with both Gucci Mane and Future. He confirms that he and Future are currently wrapping up the sequel to Beast Mode, their beloved collaborative tape that dropped in January 2015. However, the sequel will not be called Beast Mode 2, as was thought, but instead: Beast Mode 16. Zay says that the project is 95% finished, and at the very least, its new title should suggest that it'll drop in 2016. What's more, Beast Mode 16 will include at least one feature from Drake. "We got one, maybe two [Drake features] for Beast Mode 16," Zay promised. "One for sure."

Zay also hinted that "Back on Road," the Murda Beatz-produced track that dropped last month, won't be the last collaboration between Drake and Gucci Mane. Later in June, Drake showed up in a few pics alongside Gucci, Zay, and Mike Will Made-It, and in his new interview, Zay explains that he and Mike had been working on Gucci's upcoming album, Everybody Looking, when Drake showed up at the session. He didn't reveal if any GuWop/Drizzy collabs were recorded that day, but he did say, "We were thinking about working on a project with Gucci and Drake." Now that would be incredible, especially if it were to be executive produced by Zaytiggy.
