One night in April 2015, someone sprayed bullets into the side of Lil Wayne's tour bus. Despite initial reports linking Young Thug and Birdman to the shooting, Jimmy Winfrey, better known as the rapper Peewee Roscoe, pled guilty to the crime and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The saga continues: according to Courthouse News, Wayne's tour bus driver Alvin Lewis has sued Birdman, Thugger, Roscoe, Cash Money, and Young Money for r placing him “in immediate fear of death and severe bodily harm by attacking and attempting to kill him without any just provocation or cause."
Lewis is seeking damages for substantial and continuing pain, anguish, suffering, discomfort, medical expenses, lost personal and professional property, and lost wages.” He is including Thug and Birdman because they did not "repudiate" Winfrey's actions.
