Mavs, Bucks and Grizz refuse to stay at Trump properties.

There are at least three NBA teams that have decided not to stay at Trump Hotels during road trips this season, including the Dallas Mavericks whose owner, Mark Cuban, has been vocal about his stance against President-elect Donald Trump.

In addition to the Mavs, the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks have also decided to avoid Trump Hotels that are typically used by teams visiting New York (Trump SoHo) and Chicago (Trump International Hotel & Tower).

"Sources say that the Bucks stayed at the Trump International Tower and Hotel in Chicago on a preseason trip to play the Bulls in early October, but met with complications when they tried to make an 11th-hour cancellation. Milwaukee, sources say, has already made other arrangements for its regular-season road games against the Bulls."

"The Grizzlies and Mavericks, sources say, have stayed at the Trump SoHo in the past but opted during the offseason to book new New York hotels for this season."

According to ESPN, there are still some teams that are contractually obligated to stay at Trump Hotels while on the road, like one Eastern Conference franchise that will be staying at Trump SoHo in NYC during their visit to New York. Although, that same team revealed that they'll be using a different hotel not associated with Trump starting next season.

It's worth noting, Donald Trump doesn't have any equity in Trump SoHo which has been a popular hotel for many teams playing against the Knicks and Nets, but his company still owns and operates the Chicago property.
