Drew Frank, a 13 year old from El Paso, Texas is living, breathing proof that there's still some good out there in the world.
The teenager recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah and he requested cash donations from all of his guests instead of other gifts that they might've been considering. The reason for this request: so he could buy a ton of sneakers with all of the money and donate them to people in need.
“Anybody who knows me, knows how passionate I am about sneakers but I also know that not everybody in our community is not as fortunate as I am,” Drew said.
“I came up with the idea to provide other children in El Paso new sneakers who might otherwise not be able to have them.”
In total, the boy pulled in an astounding $30,000 at his Bar Mitzvah which allowed him to purchase 400 Nikes in a range of sizes for each of the students at Beall Elementary.
“I feel like they’re going to be really happy,” Drew said.
