Kanye West has been performing on flying stages across the country on his "Saint Pablo" tour for over nine weeks now, and last night (Nov. 3), during his show at The Forum -- his sixth at the LA venue since Oct. 25, his voice started to give out on him while singing "Only One." He was 45 minutes into the show when he stopped the music and told his fans he was unable to finish his performance. "My voice is so hoarse," he told the crowd. "I can't let y'all have a show where I can't perform for you."
Kanye, clearly frustrated by his weakened voice, also told those in attendance that they would get a refund for the abridged concert, as one can see in the video below. However, Ticketmaster, the company in charge of the ticket sales for last night's show, has confirmed that Kanye "doesn't have the authority to issue refunds," reports TMZ. Apparently the company is working with The Forum on working out "some kind of solution" for the upset concertgoers, who have reportedly been jamming their phone lines all day. Ticketmaster says ticket holders should expect an email some time in the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, a full refund to everyone in the arena, as Ye had promised, sounds like it'll be too good to be true.
Luckily for Kanye, the "Saint Pablo" is now on a hiatus until Nov. 17, when he's set to perform in San Jose. Check out the remaining dates here.
