An autopsy report obtained by TMZ has revealed more information surrounding the death of Shawty Lo, the Atlanta rapper and former D4L member who was involved in a fatal car accident last month.
According to the document, Lo experienced blunt force injuries to his head when he was flung from his vehicle. It was previously reported that his car went over the guardrails and struck two trees before bursting into flames.
The new information also reveals that Percoset and Vicodin pills were found on the rapper. The medical examiner notes a "strong smell" of alcohol, but toxicology results have not yet been received.
The report suggests that police granted the two women who were in the car with Shawty Lo at the time of the crash permission to remove cash from the rapper's pockets after his death.
Lo was the only one killed in the single-car crash. He was 40 years old.
Fellow artists and fans have shared their condolences for Shawty Lo over the last few weeks following his passing.
