On Sunday night (Oct. 2), while in Paris as one of the premier stars of Paris Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian was the target of a vicious armed robbery in the private apartment where she had been staying. She was bound and gagged and held at gunpoint while the thieves stole a reported $10 million worth of jewelry. It has now been reported that in the wake of the traumatic incident, production for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" has been indefinitely suspended.
Upon receiving news of the attack on his wife, Kanye stopped his performance at the Meadows Fest mid-show to fly to Kim and bring her back to NYC with a massive security detail. After a few days spent in isolation, Kanye was spotted at the studio earlier this week (Oct. 6). For obvious reasons, Kim isn't quite ready to go back to work -- or at least to have her every move filmed for her family's popular reality series on the E! network.
"Kim's well-being is our core focus right now," a spokesperson for E! told The Hollywood Reporter. "No decision has been made as to when production will resume."
Season 13 of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is set to air on Oct. 23. It's unclear if the imminent season has already been filmed in its entirety or if it will be affected by the recent halt in production.
