Memphis Grizzlies point guard, Mike Conley signed a max contract worth $153 million this off-season and recently inked a deal with Jordan Brand to boot. That's about as good as it gets for a professional athlete.
Conley was previously repping for Under Armour (and Adidas) but he isn't messing with the much criticized "Chef Curry" sneakers anymore. His words, not mine.
That comment was made during the Grizzlies Media Day, where Conley appeared in the recently released "Fine Print" Air Jordan 31.
I'm actually a fan of the Under Armour Curry 2.5, but when you have a choice between the illustrious Air Jordan line or the bland Curry Two Low, it's no surprise that Conley isn't "messing with those anymore."
While his comment wasn't really a "jab" at Steph or Under Armour, Curry still needs to wear those kicks when the Grizzlies visit Oracle this season.
