As a whole, the rap game has firmly positioned itself in opposition to Donald Trump. Basically the only exception to the prevailing "F*ck Donald Trump" sentiment is Azealia Banks, who believes the GOP presidential nominee is the most suited to run an "inherently evil" country. It's now been reported that a much more powerful player, Sean "Puffy" Combs, is undecided when it comes to voting for the controversial Republican candidate.
Speaking to the New York Post while at Macy's flagship store in NYC for the unveiling of his new cologne line, Combs referred to Trump as "a friend of mine." "I always liked Donald's style," he said, before mentioning that he still likes to wear a tie that was given to him by Trump.
Puffy, the original founder of the "Vote or Die!" movement during the 2004 election, didn't officially pledge his vote to Trump, instead suggesting he's undecided with regard to whom he'll mark down on the ballot in November, should he decides to turn out. "As far as voting for him," Puffy said of his fellow NYC mogul, "that has yet to be seen." Perhaps his fellow rap heavyweights should help influence his decision.
