Karl Smith, a Chicago man, has confessed to a 2003 murder that put his identical brother Kevin Dugar behind bars.

Although he's been in prison since 2007 for an entirely different crime, Chicago's Karl Smith has confessed to committing a 2003 murder he was never charged with - his identical twin brother Kevin Dugar was!  After allowing his brother to sit in prison for more than a decade for a crime he never did, Smith finally came forward, claiming that he lacked the strength to stand up and come forward in his brother's defense.

The 2003 murder in question was the gang-related Chicago killing of Antwan Carter. Dugar was sentenced to 54 years in prison for the crime.

What do you think? Is Smith telling the truth? Is he trying to free his brother at all costs? Let us know in the comments below, and watch the embedded video for more details.
