Gucci Mane is gearing up for his second post-prison album, Woptober, and he's made sure to time this one with the end of his house arrest, thus allowing him to travel to promote it.
Guwop has been heavy on Snapchat since his prison release, showing off his daily work out routines and meals, but he also shared the exact moment he took off his ankle monitor. From there, he headed to NYC where he did a press run promoting Woptober. This included his recent sit-down with Hot 97 as well as a GQ profile.
In the GQ profile, he talks about having his proper freedom (meaning, he can actually leave the house and travel as he pleases), and reveals an upcoming acting gig. It's no small thing either, by the sounds of it-- he'll be starring in a flick called "The Trap" alongside Benicio del Toro, Al Pacino, and James Franco, directed by "Spring Breakers" partner Harmony Korine. He's also just inked a book deal with Simon & Schuster, so it sounds like you can expect a variety of content from the rapper this year.
We'll keep you posted with more movie details. Woptober drops on October 17.
