Tyga's got lawsuits a plenty, some dating back years ago. In 2013 he was sued by a celebrity jeweler, Jason Arasheben, for allegedly owing him "excess of $270,000." The lawsuit has yet to be resolved, and now it appears as though Tyga's girlfriend is being thrown into the mix.
Arasheben's attorney, Danny Abir, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the case, and reveals plans to not only question Tyga about how he is able to support his overtly luxurious lifestyle, but he plans to bring Kylie in for questioning as well. Kylie has received several extravagant gifts from the rapper, the most recent gift probably being a diamond promise ring.
Court documents reportedly show that the couple must make themselves available for questioning "between now and Oct. 6." They will be questioned in a private setting as opposed to a court room, according to the jeweler's attorney. Both Kylie and Tyga will be questioned separately.
"Our client, Jason of Beverly Hills, has a judgment against [Tyga]. Until he pays off this judgment, unless he has other means of paying off this obligation and does, his sources of income used to buy these extravagant gifts or to support such a lifestyle should be used to satisfy his obligation," the attorney told ET. "That potentially includes the gifts themselves."
Abir added, "We will ask him questions related to his finances, such as to his source of income to support his lifestyle as well as to pay for the extravagant gifts he buys Ms. Jenner," he added. "He will have to answer under oath and so will Ms. Jenner."
