J. Cole hasn't put out much of anything since 2014 Forest Hills Drive, released in late 2014, though he continues to rack up the platinum plaques. The album was declared platinum about a year ago, and two of its tracks, "No Role Modelz" and "Wet Dreamz" have both received the same certification within the past few months. Yesterday, Roc Nation announced that two more of Cole's singles have officially gone platinum, though neither of the songs are from 2014 Forest Hills Drive. "Can't Get Enough" is a single from his debut album, 2011's Cole World: The Sideline Story. The other newly platinum single is "Crooked Smile," taken off Cole's sophomore album, 2013's Born Sinner. Unfortunately for Cole stans, both singles come with features -- Trey Songz on "Can't Get Enough" and TLC on "Crooked Smile."
According to the RIAA, with the certifications of "Can't Get Enough" and "Crooked Smile," Cole now has nine platinum plaques to his name. All three of his albums as well as a total of six singles are credited with shipping at least 1 million copies. That's quite a résumé. Listen to both "Can't Get Enough" and "Crooked Smile" below.
