Lil B worked with Frank Ocean on his album "Boys Don't Cry."

After a recent festival appearance for Finland's Flow Festival, Lil B the Based God caught up with Dazed to discuss various aspects of his Based philosophy and what it means to him, being a self-proclaimed feminist, Donald Trump and more. One of the highlights of the interview though, is when Lil B speaks on working with Frank Ocean (who, while fans wait rabidly on Boys Don't Cry, is apparently street racing with his homies).

The last update we've heard on Boys Don't Cry came on August 12, when an Apple rep "confirmed" (ha) that the album would arrive within the next "24 to 72 hours," which have obviously come and gone without so much as a song. Lil B says that Ocean called up on him to put in some work for Boys Don't Cry, as he tells Dazed, "Frank Ocean was amazing. He called me to come out and do some stuff for his album, Boys Don’t Cry, that’s coming out. Frank is amazing. He’s a beautiful man with a beautiful voice. He’s a very strong man, a very strong person. Anything that I can do to help him, I will."

When asked what Lil B can tell us about the anticipated album, he says: "If Frank releases. Let’s see what Frank releases. Frank has the material."

Stay tuned.
