Everyone from Nas to Janelle Monae was excited to be on the President's playlist.

Earlier today, Barack Obama “dropped” (his words) a two part summer playlist, also serving as a cultural farewell as his eight years in the White House come to a close this fall. Barry O’s taste in music runs the gamut, but most relevant to HNHH are the many hip hop and R&B artists he included in both the daytime and nighttime segments.

It appears the artists featured on the playlist weren’t given a heads up beforehand, as many of the artists have taken to Twitter to show their appreciation for the POTUS. Among the more interesting selections was Chance The Rapper’s “Acid Rain,” which appeared in the image President Obama tweeted, but isn’t actually on the playlist because Acid Rap is not on Spotify. Chance doesn't seem perturbed by it though.

Check out the myriad reactions below. We’re still waiting on a response from Method Man though.
