Our weekly recap of r'n'b and hip-hop albums' performance on the charts.

DJ Khaled has plenty of reason to celebrate this week. Khaled earned his first #1 debut with his ninth studio album Major Key-- obviously all that Snapchatting paid off. The record rides high on collaborations with everyone from Jay Z to YG, Kendrick Lamar to Future, although Khaled probably has more than enough star power by himself at this point. Drake follows right behind him with VIEWS, a record that has spent most of the summer at #1. Elsewhere, r'n'b singer/former "American Idol" contestant, Fantasia, debuts quite strongly in the top 10 with her fifth album Definition Of..., and Gucci Mane, Beyonce, Bryson Tiller, and Kevin Gates all hang out in the top 20.

...

1) DJ Khaled – Major Key: If you were skeptical that Khaled has the keys to success, look no further than the #1 spot on this week's Billboard 200. The star-studded album took over the top spot from Drake with help from Jay Z, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and, well, Drake himself. Khaled debuts with 95,323 TAEU and 59,317 in pure sales for the Major Key debut. Let's see how this plays out in the long run.

2) Drake – VIEWS: After getting bumped down one spot to make room for DJ Khaled, VIEWS comes in at #2 this week. We've seen him in this spot before, and he's always managed to climb back up-- will that be the case again? VIEWS moves 80,359 TAEU and 14,737 in pure sales during its 14th week on the charts.

3)Rihanna – ANTI: Rihanna felt the shift thanks to DJ Khaled as well. Her eighth studio album ANTI dropped down one spot from #4 to #5. The record has been bopping around the top 10 since its release 28 weeks back, this time clocking 31,919 TAEU and 6,092 in pure sales.

4) Fantasia – Definition Of…: Fantasia makes a debut at #6 this week, proving that the "American Idol" star still has it in 2016. Definition Of..., her fifth studio album, debuts with 31,626 TAEU and 29,511 in physical copies.

5) Gucci Mane – Everybody Looking: After debuting at #2 last week, Gucci Mane has slipped to the #11 spot with his newest effort Everybody Looking. Can Gucci pop back into the top 10 next week? We'll have to wait to find out, but for now, he's tallied 26,236 TAEU and 12,770 in pure sales with a record that features Drake, Kanye West, and Young Thug.

6) Beyonce – LEMONADE: Beyonce got locked out of the top 10 this week too, going from #9 to #13 with LEMONADE, which might be lacking in the stream department due to its exclusivity with TIDAL. At any rate, the record puts 23,607 TAEU and 15,822 pure sales on the board as it celebrates 15 weeks on the charts.

7) Bryson Tiller – TrapsoulTrapsoul is already nearing its one-year birthday, if you can believe it, and we're still seeing it in Charts week after week. The album dropped in October of last year and has been on the charts for 45 weeks now. This week Tiller makes a one-spot slip from #17 to #18, while he tallies up 17,210 TAEU and 4,089 in pure sales.

8) Kevin Gates – ISLAH: Kevin Gates also slipped one spot this week, which seems to be the trend, from #18 to #19. The rising star is on tour with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg, and is continuing to move an impressive amount of copies and streams of ISLAH. This week the album does 16,305 TAEU and 4,495 pure sales.

9) Kanye West – The Life of Pablo: With 0 albums sold again this week, Kanye West still manages to land at the #22 spot on the strength of people streaming his latest effort The Life of Pablo. Yeezy clocks 15,192 TAEU, while the album has been on the charts for 18 weeks.

10) G-Eazy – When It’s Dark Out: Cali's G-Eazy comes in at #27 with his latest record When It's Dark Out. Similar to Tiller, he's remained on the charts for quite some time-- 35 weeks. The album adds 14,007 TAEU and 3,901 in pure sales to its grand total, despite slipping a couple of spots from last week's stint at #25.

...

Sia and Sean Paul's new single, "Cheap Thrills," hold down the #1 spot once again this week, with Drake's "One Dance" coming in right behind them at #2. Drake's name pops up on the charts no less than 9 times this week, including collaborations with DJ Khaled, Rihanna, and French Montana. Khaled is on the Hot 100 three times, with his highest-charting song being "For Free" featuring Drake at #13. Directly above him, Desiigner's "Panda" holds on to #12.
