Tebow has spent the last year honing his baseball skills.

Tim Tebow has come to terms that his professional football career just isn't going to work out so now he's moving on to the next sport- professional baseball.

The former Broncos and Jets QB is actively pursuing a gig in the MLB, and has plans to hold an open workout for all 30 teams later this month.

For what it's worth, Tebow has reportedly spent the last year training in Arizona and Los Angeles, working on his hitting and fielding, although he hasn't played in a game since 2005.

"Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures," said Sexton, Tebow's football agent, who is now working with CAA baseball agent Brodie Van Wagenen.

"Tim's athletic ability, his work ethic, his leadership and his competitiveness were evident in football and will show in baseball. Knowing Tim's passion and desire, we won't be surprised by anything he accomplishes."

In his final season playing baseball in HS, Tebow was an All-State player in Florida and hit .494 while helping his team to the final four in the state playoffs.
