Earlier this year, TDE CEO Top Dawg suggested that at least 6 projects would be released by the label in 2016, one from each of its signees, as well as the possibility of music from two unnamed artists (one later revealed to be Lance Skiiiwalker). So far, TDE has dropped Kendrick Lamar's untitled, unmastered and ScHoolboy Q's Blank Face LP, meaning there's a whole lot more to come in the second half of the year.
Last night, TDE co-president Dave Free hinted that the next project would be coming next month, tweeting out the date, 09.02.16 without context outside of a TDE hashtag.
Fans quickly began guessing whose project it could be in reference to, many responding directly to the tweet with hopes for Isaiah Rashad and Ab-Soul's projects.
With many of the artists due for follow-ups, it could be pretty much anyone on the label (though Jay Rock, who released an album in 2015, seems unlikely). Until we get further word, your guess is as good as ours. Check out the tweet below.
