The "Doggystyle" classic has spawned a lawsuit over 20 years later.

Snoop Dogg's ""Ain't No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)," though never released as a single, is one of the most recognizable records on Snoop Dogg's 1993 debut, Doggystyle. It's also one of the most well-known hooks from the late Nate Dogg. However, a new lawsuit claims that the record actually belongs to two lesser known rappers, according to TMZ.

The rappers, who are not named, say they wrote the hook for the song for their own self-titled debut album in 1991. They played the song for Suge Knight, Snoop, Dr. Dre, and Kurupt, who all loved the song, and they agreed to hand it over in exchange for a deal with Suge.

The contract apparently fell through, so now the duo are looking for damages. They've also pointed to a Nate Dogg interview published in a 2013 issue of Rolling Stone, where Nate allegedly admits the song was based on a track called "One Of The Homies."

None of those mentioned in the lawsuit have responded publicly at this time.
