Just days after it was reported that Iggy Azalea is facing more IRS problems with a current debt of $270K, news has surfaced online that the Aussie rapper has inked a new TV production deal with Universal Cable and Wilshire Studios. And it’s safe to say she needs the bread.
Hollywood Reporter reports that Iggy will work the studios to create "millennial-focused programming." The content will include scripted and unscripted shows, and will cover a wide range of topics, including social justice, tolerance, as well as women empowerment.
''Creating television that is reflective of my generation has always been an aspiration of mine," Azalea told the Hollywood Reporter. "I am incredibly excited to start working on my ideas and am humbled that Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios have given me this once-in-a-life time opportunity.''
