In a joint press conference held this morning with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, President Obama did not mince words when it comes to Donald Trump's possible presidency. The current president called out the Republican candidate, from his general lack of knowledge when it comes to world issues to his disrespectful comments about all kinds of people, including the Khan family.
"I think the Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president. I said so last week. And he keeps on proving it," Obama said during the press conference. He went on to say, "this is not just my opinion."
Obama turned to Republican leaders in his speech, asking them to take a stand against Trump. "This isn't a situation where you have an episodic gaffe," Obama says. "This is daily, and weekly, where they are distancing themselves from statements he's making ... There has to be a point at which you say, 'Enough.'"
Trump decided to reply on Facebook.
