Future is poised to join the growing list of rappers who have launched their own pop-up; his, called "Future Hive," will open in New York City next week.
Future linked up with the social shopping site "Fancy" to create the shop which will feature a number of top selling brands like Pintrill and Cease and Desist, as well as his own tour merch and FreeBandz Clothing line.
“What we wanted to do is create an experience for the fans,” said Marcus Howard, head of business at Fancy. “We’ve seen what everyone has done with the standard pop-up and they are essentially glorified merchandise stands. We want people to come in and feel like it’s Future’s space and offer a high-quality retail experience.”
Furthermore, Future collaborated with John Varatos on a leather motorcycle jacket customized by Adam Bohemond, which will carry a hefty $2,498 price tag, and Moreca who has designed a special edition weekend bag ($1,700) which reads, "Always Secure the Bags."
Future Hive, located at 76 Wooster Street, will open its doors on Tuesday August 2nd and will also include an art gallery and VIP lounge along with the retail space.
