James Harden, Adidas' $200 million man, will finally be getting his first signature sneaker later this year, something that fans of The Beard have long been waiting for.
Additionally, Harden recently declared in an interview with Sole Collector that he'll definitely be working on a sneaker collaboration with Kanye West- who has yet to try his hand at any performance basketball footwear.
"Down the line, we'll definitely collab on a sneaker," Harden said of West. "He's never done a basketball shoe before, so that would shake up the shoe game a little bit."
Last month Adidas officially announced a long-term contract extension with Kanye which included an entire team of designers and project managers strictly assigned to Yeezy merch. As part of the new and improved deal, it was also announced that Kanye would begin work on a new line of performance products for Adidas athletes.
There's no timeframe of when we'll be seeing performance Yeezys on the basketball court but you can expect to see a Kanye x James Harden Adidas collab when the time comes.
