One of the greatest communities on twitter is #NBATwitter, and the NBA has revealed steps to improve that experience by producing a weekly pre-game show that will air exclusively on Twitter's social media platform.
The live-stream show will reportedly include features designed to integrate with users' conversations on Twitter.
"We're excited about bringing live content to Twitter, which has proven to be an ideal destination for real-time sports conversations," NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement. "We've seen technology bring fans closer to our game, teams and players in ways we could have only imagined a decade ago. This expanded partnership will help feed our fans' growing demand for the NBA by more deeply integrating the league across Twitter's many platforms."
As part of the new partnership, the league will also be airing an additional show that streams exclusively to twitter users, although no live games like the deal Twitter struck with the NFL for some upcoming Thursday night games.
Still, twitter users who are fans of #NBATwitter should be delighted to learn that there's some additional content coming their way next season.
