Lil Wayne was the victim of another severe seizure last night in Las Vegas, reports TMZ. He was hospitalized and was forced to cancel his scheduled performance at a pre-UFC 200 party at the TAO nightclub. He was apparently hit by the seizure moments before he was set to perform. News of Wayne's hospitalization comes less than a month after he suffered two seizures while on board his private jet, thus requiring two separate emergency landings. Luckily, it has been reported that he was released from the ICU today and is currently recuperating at his estate in Miami.
When the media first learned of Wayne's airplane seizures, some speculated that the attacks were a result of the rapper's high intake of codeine syrup. However, a rep for Weezy soon revealed that the seizures were not lean-induced and were, instead, a result of him not taking his meds for epilepsy, a disease that he has lived with for years. A source has now told TMZ that yesterday's scare was also related to a "medication issue" and that Wayne's doctors have had difficulty in prescribing him with the appropriate balance of meds for his epileptic condition.
