HNHH Staff shares their weekly favorites on a playlist.

This week was dominated more by saddening news stories than it was by music, but the social outcry regarding the many innocent lives that were taken in the past week have also resulted directly in new music-- it's bittersweet, obviously. With plenty of artists hitting the booth to give their own take on the tense social climate, we definitely didn't lack in songs this past week. Lest we forget though, ScHoolboy Q's highly anticipated Blank Face LP album hit shelves today, and to celebrate, the rapper dropped off a Black Hippy remix of "THat Part," which is a very rare and highly-coveted affair.

Of course, that song makes this week's Staff Picks playlist. In addition to Q, we do have a couple of records in here that are reflections on the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. We also have some more lighthearted music, thank you Jazz Cartier and Lil West.

Take a listen to the weekly playlist below.

Carver Low: Big K.R.I.T. "Country Niggas Anonymous (Freestyle)"; Jazz Cartier "Lil Wayne"

Angus Walker: Migos "Can't Go Out Sad"; Mike Dean Feat. Z-Ro "No Justice No Peace"

Kevin Goddard: Black Hippy "tHat Part (Remix)"

Rose Lilah: Lil West Feat. 21 Savage "WYM"; Rich The Kid Feat. Jaden Smith "Like This"

Trevor Smith: Migos "Slide On Em"

Daniel Schwartz: Denzel Curry "ULTRA"; Greg Street Feat. B.o.B, Big K.R.I.T., Akon & Jesse Jackson "I Am Somebody"
