"I promised the Sixers that I would come over after two season."

Dario Saric has reportedly told reporters in Croatia that he will finally be joining the Sixers this Summer, once the Olympic qualifying tournament concludes. This isn't the first time Saric has been rumored to be leaving his Turkish team for the NBA, but this time it looks like a done deal.

“I have one more year on my contract with Efes and (coach) Perasovic wants me to stay, but I promised them (the Sixers) that I would come over after two seasons,” the translation claims Saric said. “For me, what you promise is the most important.

“I’m waiting for this tournament (Olympic qualifying tournament) to end so that I can sit down and work out a deal, then head over to the USA to sign,” the translation continues.

The Sixers landed Saric during the 2014 NBA Draft in a trade with the Orlando Magic for the 12th overall pick. The 6'10 forward averaged 11.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Turkish lead last year and he will now be competing alongside the #1 overall draft pick, Ben Simmons. Not to mention, the other stable of bigs on the Sixers roster.

Needless to say, he'll have his work cut out for him when he finally touches down in Philly.
