The Chicago Bulls are looking to make moves this offseason and one, if not both, of their starting guards could be on the move. Obviously, the Bulls are more inclined to trade Derrick Rose rather than Jimmy Butler but it remains to be seen what kind of market is out there for the former league MVP.
One team that is reportedly discussing a move to acquire Rose is the New Yorks Knicks, who have had internal discussions about trading for him according to ESPN's Ian Begley.
New York is desperately in need of an upgrade at the point guard position this off season, amongst other things, but with free agents Rajon Rondo and Mike Conley available it's strange that they'd be willing to part ways with one of their few valuable trade assets in order to land a very injury prone D-Rose. This is especially baffling considering Rose will be a free agent after the 2016-17 season.
Then again, this is the Knicks we're talking about so why should anyone be surprised?
