Although Nate Robinson played professional hoops this year in Israel, his time in the NBA is over and he's shifting his focus to the next chapter of his life. And if things go according to his plan, the former dunk contest champion will be lining up at defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks.
The 32-year old last played football during his college days in 2002 at the University of Washington but has been adamant about returning to the gridiron since March when he announced (video below) his intentions to pursue a football career.
Today, Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks gave him an official tryout, though it would be shocking if he found himself a spot on the 90-man roster.
Can't knock the guy for chasing his dreams though!
