Battle rap is quickly growing as a culture. What was almost completely relegated to street corners and Youtube a few years ago has garnered national recognition, more tv programming, Pay-Per-View events, and other attention of the mainstream media. Hip Hop icons like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Drake have put on events for the battle scene and at this rate things can only continue to expand. That being the case, we’re here to keep you updated on all things battle rap. Now is a great time to join the culture.

We’ve got quite a few battles and updates this week on What’s New In Battle Rap. King of the Dot has had some much anticipated postponed battles finally happen, and their new venue is going strong. Speaking of postponed battles, URL has postponed their Unfinished Business 2 event, ironically putting off the finish of a battle we never saw the end of. Don’t Flop has had a title match and someone got banned. It’s been a busy few weeks. Also, Nick Cannon wants to battle Eminem. Yeah.
