Cam Newton is done with the dab. The Panthers QB, who appeared on WFZN-AM radio's "The Mac Attack'' show from Charlotte, said, "I have to put that side," in regards to his world famous touchdown celebration.
I'm not going to point fingers but Cam's decision to retire the dab comes just after the Scripps Spelling Bee which, as some of you may recall, became Dab City, USA.
Of course, Cam can still do his "Superman" celebration, but for the time being he is without a celebratory dance. Maybe he'll just hand the ball off to the ref next year? Not likely.
When asked about what to expect the next time he finds the endzone, Cam said, ""I have until September to find out."
