Former MMA fighter, Kimbo Slice, has passed away at the age of 42. Early reports suggest Kimbo, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson, could not be revived after suffering a heart attack on Monday night.
Kimbo first made a name for himself by knocking dudes TF out in underground street fighting before eventually being discovered on Youtube and making the jump to mixed martial arts.
Slice was already a legendary brawler before appearing on the 10th season of the Ultimate Fighter and his celebrity helped land him a spot in the UFC, albeit briefly. He had also dabbled in boxing, professional wrestling and Bellator MMA- his last fight was in February of this year.
He is survived by his girlfriend Antionette Ray and his six children.
