A Space Jam 2 film starring LeBron James could be in the works but nothing has been set in stone.
LeBron's business partner, Maverick Carter, recently sat down for an interview with Recode's Kurt Wagner and he revealed that all of the speculation surrounding LeBron and a Space Jam sequel is just that- speculation.
"Maybe we’re going to do it. There’s a lot of rumors. Nothing is set yet," Carter said of "Space Jam."
Of course, it's likely that if Warner Bros. decides to reboot the Space Jam franchise LeBron will be their baller of choice- which is something Space Jam fans have fiercely debated since the rumors first started.
If LeBron does indeed take the role as leader of the Toon Squad, we're all hoping that JR Smith lands himself a spot on the supporting cast.
