If you've been keeping up with the news on the site, you're probably aware that 50 Cent found himself in hot water after he unabashedly made fun of a teenager who suffered from a disability, and shared it with his 8 million twitter followers.
After it was revealed the teenager in question, Andrew Farrell, suffers from Aspergers, a mild form of autism, backlash ensued. Since then, Andrew's step-father has spoken out against 50 Cent, and asked that the rapper apologize and donate $10,000 to an autism advocacy group called Autism Speaks. The rapper did issue an apology, and now there is a report saying that he's also donated to Autism Speaks-- going above and beyond the $10k.
TMZ reports that 50 donated $100,000 to Autism Speaks in the wake of this controversy-- no word on how this affects his bankruptcy situation. This also comes on the heels of news earlier today that Martin Shkreli donated $10,000 to group as a response to the incident.
