What is Cinco de Mayo? The holiday commemorates Mexican victory in a battle against the French in May 5, 1862. In other words -- it is a cause for great celebration.
They don't actually celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Mexico. But in the United States, it's a pretty big deal for alcohol enthusiasts. Every May 5, citizens of the United States 21 and older have free license to get as drunk as possible without fear of being judged by their peers.
HNHH put together a playlist of 20 songs that are not necessarily geared towards the *turn up* but rather energizing for the early evening chill/drink session. We've included songs old and new, with a slight bias towards the west coast and the south. Appearances from Afro Man, Schoolboy Q, YG, Mac Dre, Action Bronson, and more.
Happy Cinco de Mayo, everybody!
