Rachel Roy releases a statement about the rumors that she is "Becky with the good hair."

Beyonce turned the internet upside down when it turned out LEMONADE was actually an entirely new (visual) album from the pop star. That was the only thing getting the internet topsy-turvy, the fact that Beyonce alleges that her husband Jay Z cheated on her in the album created in even more controversy, putting the BeyHive to work in attempt to locate "Becky with the good hair."

It just so happened on the same night Beyonce dropped, Rachel Roy posted an Instagram photo with a caption touting her "good hair"-- the BeyHive quickly attacked, and even mistakenly attacked another Rachael, Rachael Ray. More recently, the BeyHive has set their sights on Rita Ora, who was seen Snapchatting with a necklace that contains what looks like a 'J' initial (her Instagram is now being inundated with the bee and lemonade emoji).

Now Rachel Roy has come forward to officially deny that she is "Becky with the good hair." Talking with People, Roy said, "I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that," she said. "There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."

Her initial Instagram post has since been deleted. If there are any new developments as to who is "Becky with the good hair," we'll update you.
