DJ Khaled is currently busy perfecting a record specially made for Kendrick Lamar.

It's been three and a half years since Kendrick Lamar last jumped on a DJ Khaled track, when he appeared next to J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T. on "They Ready," off Khaled's 2012 album Kiss the Ring. Though Kendrick's style isn't exactly suited for Khaled's usual street/club hybrid anthems, there's no star whom the We the Best boss can't inspire, and he's eager to get back in the studio with K. Dot, especially in the wake of the Compton rapper's two consecutive No. 1 albums.

Kendrick, Khaled, and TDE boss Anthony Tiffith recently attended the Clippers vs. Cavaliers game together in L.A., and during a new interview with The Cruz Show on Power 106, Khaled revealed that he and Kendrick partook in some major courtside cloth talk.

Khaled has created a track specifically with Kendrick in mind, and apparently, the TDE emcee is waiting on him to send it over. Before he lets Kendrick lace the track, though, Khaled has to make sure it's perfect. "He waiting on me actually," explained Khaled. "I told him I'm just tweakin' something. I wanna present it where, you know, the microphone just automatically comes on."

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Khaled's We the Best Music Group, so fans can expect the records he puts out -- the one with Kendrick, especially -- to be worthy of the occasion.

Also during the interview, Khaled revealed that he's currently in "mogul talk" with Kim Kardashian, likely plotting an App Store-breaking development, and he expressed his love for President Barack Obama, who chose Khaled's "All I Do Is Win" as his walk-out song during the 2013 White House Correspondents' Dinner.
