As fans, most of us are pretty voiceless when it comes to demanding, or even requesting, an artist to release music. You might try to incessantly @ your favorite artist on twitter, or go back 130 weeks and comment all over their Instagram photos, but the chances of you getting a response back are slim. However, Lebron James is big enough voice to warrant a reply.
Yesterday Lebron went into fan-mode and pleaded with Top Dawg's CEO, Anthony Tiffith, to release those "Untitled" Kendrick Lamar records we've only seen him perform live. K. Dot fans everywhere should thank him, as it seems his request was enough to at least let Tiffith "think" on it for a couple of days. Let's hope thinking turns to action.
"Yo @dangerookipawaa after that @kendricklamar Grammy performance , you have to release those untitled tracks asap!!! What's up? Talk to me," Lebron tweeted. Tiffith replied, "Dam my nigga u on my head 2...The fans been killing me. Y'all just backed me in a corner..Give me a few days 2 think."
Do you think he'll oblige? If nothing else, Tiffith confirmed last night we'd receive a new ScHoolboy Q album before the summer hits.
