Supreme and Vans have always had a close relationship, which makes sense given the former is a skate shop and the latter is a skate brand. With the iconic skate shop’s Spring/Summer 2016 drop looming, Instagram user @bellsupreme has posted pictures of what look to be the next Vans sneaker to get a Supreme design treatment.
Supreme will be using the Vans Authentic, probably the brand’s most iconic silhouette along with the well-known slip on. It looks like they’ll be flipping the Vans checkerboard pattern into a chopped up Supreme logo used as an all-over print.
There are two versions of the sneaker, one using an off-white color upper of what will most likely be canvas to pair with the black checkerboard look. The other features the same pattern, but in true white. The sole will be a standard true white rubberized sole typical of Vans sneakers, and the heel tag will get a Supreme alteration.
These are not a confirmed release, but we should know more as the February release date for Supreme Spring/Summer 2016 gets closer.
