Kanye West's recent record, "Facts," although generally underwhelming, still caused its fair share of ruckus on these e-nets. The rapper was mainly throwing shade at his former sneaker partner, Nike, however, Lebron James seemed to get dissed in the crossfire.
The other day Lebron James responded to the record, sorta kinda not really. The basketball player hadn't actually heard the song, but said, "Obviously I'm going to side with Nike no matter who it is. It's just, it's family when you talk about Nike, and I'm always on their side no matter what the situation is."
Kanye hopped on twitter to place blame on the media for over-sensationalizing his line, and called Lebron "fam, bottom line." The rapper tweeted early this morning, "The media tried to make it seem like I was downplaying LeBron on my song FACTS which I would never do, Lebron is fam bottom line."
Kanye's wifey also tweeted in the early hours of the morning that Kanye would be dropping new music every Friday as we lead up to SWISH. Stay tuned.
